Portland, OR songwriter, Maggie Ray, is performing a set of Indie Rock/Pop at The Lyons Den in Seaside outside on our riverfront patio (weather permitting). Ray is a community-minded dreamer whose shows blend humor, tenderness and a touch of wild queer magic. North Coast singer-songwriter and ukulele virtuoso, Siobhan Kaplan, will be performing an engaging solo ukulele set full of passion, humor and storytelling at The Lyons Den in Seaside. Her music is captivating, often sung in a number of different languages, with a comedic darkness that’s both unexpected and satisfying. Portland Music Award recipient and celebrated PNW songwriter, Lauren Sheehan, is performing a set of authentic Roots/Folk/Blues music at The Lyons Den in Seaside. An accomplished storyteller and multi-instrumentalist, Lauren celebrates America’s musical legacy with a diverse collection of original songs that capture the spirit and tenderness of our past, present and future. She has released five albums and was recently included on the compilation “Sweet Bitter Blues”, produced by Phil Wiggins and Frank Matheis, which pays homage to living Piedmont Blues musicians. Lauren teaches music at Pacific University and performs regularly at festivals throughout the country. Her unique voice and arrangements perfectly compliment a homegrown sound that is both inspiring and nostalgic.

Boulder, CO indie duo, Many Mountains, are bringing their Roots/Folk/Rock sound to The Lyons Den in Seaside. Songwriters KR Nelson and Dustin Mora are wonderful storytellers, featuring songs interlaced with gorgeous harmonies and melodic leads that showcase their individual talents. Their music is a seamless fusion of American roots, folk, and rock with a touch of ambient – offering a collection of original tunes that capture the raw, authentic spirit of the Rocky Mountains and its rugged landscape.

Seattle, WA indie quartet, Inland Seaway, are bringing their Newgrass/Folk/Americana sound to The Lyons Den in Seaside for a very special Monday performance! Initially a songwriting collaboration between musicians Ryan Manthey and Dan Sodomka, the band has expanded over the years to include renowned Northwest artists Andi Scher and Erika Lundahl who bring a spirited energy to their music. These talented performers have bonded over their love for troubadours like Charlie Parr and William Elliot Whitmore - creating an inspiring collection of original songs that feature playful string dancing, gorgeous harmonies and thoughtful lyrics.

Seattle, WA indie artist Jessie Thoreson is bringing her Roots/Folk Rock sound to The Lyons Den in Seaside with a free live performance on our outdoor patio overlooking the Necanicum River (weather permitting). Jessie delivers a powerful sound and vibrant stories inspired by the natural world and her work as a fire ecologist in Washington. Her new album, Return to the Ground, was released in April 2026 and weaves together themes of decay, renewal and rebirth – showcasing a collection of original songs that capture the raw, authentic spirit of the Pacific Northwest.

Pacific Northwest recording artist, Adams & Costello, will be performing an eclectic set of roots/blues/rock music at The Lyons Den in Seaside. Fronted by vocal duo Julie Adams and Michael Costello with Flint Rice on drums, these talented songwriters deliver a passionate and poetic set of original material. This will be their first performance in Seaside following a 3-month adventure in Nashville, TN where they performed and recorded their upcoming album with 5x Grammy winning producer, Brandon Bell (Brandi Carlile, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Reba McEntire, Alison Krauss). With several albums under their belt, a solid fan base and growing catalog of songs, Adams & Costello have positioned themselves as a North Coast favorite. North Coast Indie Rock/Pop bands Boom Boom Lemon and Rachel & The Reverie are performing at The Lyons Den in Seaside. Boom Boom Lemon is a psychedelic surf rock trio featuring Travis Hartnett (guitar), Shawn Carr (bass) and Brian Kling (drums) who squeeze out the juiciest instrumental jams on the North Coast. Funky, melodic and at times utterly surreal, these talented musicians are sure to make your lips pucker! Fronted by veteran Riverbend Players actor, vocalist and songwriter Rachel Pinci, The Reverie includes Travis Hartnett (bass), Brian Kling (drums) and Astoria folkster Niall (guitar) who perfectly compliment Rachel’s powerful voice and keyboard-driven Indie Pop songs.

Join us at The Lyons Den in Seaside for international “Make Music Day” – a free, all ages celebration of music sponsored by the Arts Council of Clatsop County and the NAMM Foundation. Launched in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique in France, this special event is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries around the world.

Make Music Day is a free public event open to anyone who wants to participate. Featuring amateurs and professionals in every musical genre, participants young and old will pour onto streets, parks, plazas and porches to share their passion for music with friends, neighbors and strangers.

Seattle, WA Indie Soul/R&B artist, A Strange Bird, is performing an intimate set of original music at The Lyons Den in Seaside. A queer nomadic songster and guitarist, A Strange Bird’s sharp-tongued tunes echo a life spent slipping through the cracks. Raw, openhearted and hauntingly familiar, they sing soulful songs about hard truths and redemption. With a syncopated thumping and plucking of chords, this griot’s honeyed voice leads audiences down shadowy hallways of their past and walks them through the hard lessons they’ve learned – all while offering hope and solidarity as a cure for what ails you.

Eugene, OR Indie Folk/Roots artists, Geoffrey Louis Koch, is performing an intimate set of originals at The Lyons Den in Seaside. The Lyons Den in Seaside is hosting an exclusive Songwriter Showcase featuring three incredible female artists: Erika Lundahl, Mariela & Saint Misty! Each brings their own unique vision to the singer-songwriter genre, complemented by fiery live performances and extraordinary musicianship.

Erika’s folk medicine roots shine bright in personal and vulnerable stories of resilience – dancing between shadow and light to seek futures of abundance, possibility and healing. Based on Coast Salish land in Seattle, her latest album “Messy, Blessed Infinity” is an exuberant love letter to the world, wrapped in notes that bend from energized folk rock to hushed spoken word poetry.

Mariela is an indie-pop artist from San Deigo, CA whose debut album “The Underglow” bursts with trans femme joy, anthemic hooks, unrequited love and unrepentant sincerity. Blending confessional lyrics with glittering production, Mariela crafts music for anyone yearning to be themselves and find their place. With growing festival and tour momentum, she’s carving out a space for queer/trans artists and women to thrive in the spotlight, not the margins.

Saint Misty is a synth-pop artist from San Deigo, CA whose sticky-sweet hooks wrap around songs that reckon with identity and escape, tracing her journey from radical Christian cult to lesbian icon in the making. Conjuring the disco dance and punk defiance energy of the 70s/80s, her music is a joyful celebration of self-acceptance that resonates deeply with a growing fandom of women and “queer-dos” who hear their story in her songs.

Oregon City indie rock/folk/roots band, Eel Sallad, are bringing their “grungegrass” sound to The Lyons Den in Seaside! Fronted by dynamic vocalist and guitarist Dallas Lee (Eel Sallad backwards), their contemplative songwriting and passionate instrumentals create a soulful, high-energy sound you can't help but boogie to. Eel Sallad’s music spans everything from sultry folk ballads to audacious grunge anthems, delivered with a compelling stage presence that keeps audiences hooked from start to finish.

North Coast favorites, The Villainous Things, are bringing their rock/blues/folk sound back to The Lyons Den in Seaside! Featuring singer-songwriter Christopher McNeary (guitar/vox), Holly Jeffrey (bass/vox) and Andrew Randall (drums), these talented artists put on a really fun show featuring a mix of heartfelt originals and unique covers that seamlessly span decades and genres of familiar music.

Portland band, The Flowtenders, are performing an eclectic set of original indie/soul/blues music at The Lyons Den in Seaside. Fronted by American Idol alum Naomi Tatsuoka (bass/vox) and Waterfront Blues Fest veteran Josh Makosky (guitar/vox), these talented artists deliver a passionate and soulful collection of well-crafted tunes. They’ve been regular crowd favorites at the Starday Tavern, Montavilla Station and other fantastic venues throughout Oregon. Featuring gorgeous melodies, powerful songwriting and guitar prowess, The Flowtenders are an absolute joy to hear and they put on one heck of a show!

Stop by The Lyons Den this Saturday for an exclusive sangria tasting at this year’s Seaside Downtown Development Association (SDDA) Spring Wine Walk! Mixologist and owner Charki Lyons will be batching some very special sangria varieties featuring fresh fruits, herbs, PNW wines, organic syrups and non-distilled spirits - showcasing a palate of vibrant flavors and color. All our sangrias are house-made and crafted with love right here in Seaside. We’ll also have some perfectly paired snacks to feast on while you enjoy our riverfront view. Tickets for the Spring Wine Walk are $20 and can be purchased from SDDA online or at the Carousel Mall downtown.

The Lyons Den is celebrating their 1-year anniversary in cool cat style with two live performances featuring RJ Marx Quartet and Red String Theory! The evening will kick off with RJ Marx (sax), Roxanne Hill (keys), Dusty Hill (drums) and special guests incl. Chelsea LaFey (vocals) performing some jazz/blues classics. Then the original fusion/funk sounds of Red String Theory will cap the night with Lowell Benner (keys), Greg Lyons (bass), Mike Morrow (drums), Shawn Carr (guitar) and Thomas DeLano (sax) laying down some dance-heavy grooves. It’s gonna be quite the party with drink specials and Charki’s amazing grazing table all night!
