Portland, OR acoustic trio, Heather Christie & The Starlettes, are bringing their harmony-rich blend of indie roots and folk to The Lyons Den in Seaside. Featuring Heather Christie, Christina Balesky and Melissa “Mel” Rierson, these talented women put their voices front and center – framing Heather’s personal songwriting with layered harmonies and acoustic warmth. Raised in a Pacific Northwest family of musicians, Heather grew up around bluegrass jams and gospel singalongs, laying a foundation that carries into music equally at home with intimate storytelling and spirited folk-rock energy.
The Starlettes formed in spring 2024 and released their self-titled debut EP on Valentine’s Day 2026. Recorded live to tape in a Portland basement, its three songs, “Is This Love,” “Lay Me Down” and “The Day You Called Me Devil”, capture the group’s direct, personal approach. Heather’s broader catalog includes Are You Willing, Live and Love Road, while her performing career has taken her nationwide.
