Join us at The Lyons Den in Seaside for international “Make Music Day” – a free, all ages celebration of music sponsored by the Arts Council of Clatsop County and the NAMM Foundation. Launched in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique in France, this special event is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries around the world.

Make Music Day is a free public event open to anyone who wants to participate. Featuring amateurs and professionals in every musical genre, participants young and old will pour onto streets, parks, plazas and porches to share their passion for music with friends, neighbors and strangers.

The Lyons Den will be hosting a variety of performances and instrument workshops throughout the afternoon on our patio overlooking the Necanicum River and Qatat Park. Visit https://makemusicday.org/clatsopcounty/ if you’d like to sign up as a performer or volunteer.
