Portland, OR multi-instrumentalist, composer and filmmaker, Carlos Severe Marcelin, is performing an eclectic set of Prog/Ambient/Post Rock music at The Lyons Den in Seaside outside on our riverfront patio (weather permitting). Carlos is an adventurous songwriter who focuses on the wholistic journey of “listening” and “experiencing” music, rather than regurgitating trite structures and popular norms. His experimental approach is thematic and raw – challenging audiences to think outside the box while exploring the microcosms of our vast musical cosmos. From his impressionable Afro-Cuban roots to sprawling rock operas with his band Sally Tomato, Carlos continues to blur the lines between music, art and the human experience.
